My Cat Can Solve A Rubiks Cube!!!!!!!

Summer!

Well summer finaly fell upon me. I had been waiting for so long to get a nice long break from school. I am now about half way through my summer and i have had alot of fun for the past few weeks. At the beginning, i got to hang out with one of my good friends. We had a sleepover at his house and we did all kinds of cool stuff. This last weekend i went on a hike with my Boy Scout troop to mount Baden Powel. it was about 8 miles round trip, but it seemed like it was much longer because of the strenuous uphill trails, and the knee pounding downhill trails. It took all day because of the younger scouts who had alot more trouble getting to the top and down

wEll the school year is coming to a close and my mind is still at a continuous pace because of this, I get so bored, that i will do anything to keep myself occupied. Acouple of days ago, i pulled out my building system called knex and built the craziest thing ive ever built. It is a ball maze over three feet tall. pictured above. It is operated only by pressing a switch that sends the ball through the maze. its not perfect, but its mine and I love it :-)

Cool Stuff

Well on my mom's blog, she posted that i have some pretty cool skills. Well, she wanted me to tell you what they are. First, my favorite thing to do is Rubik's Cubing. I can solve the cube in an average of 58 seconds. I went to a competition last year and I averaged 1 min 36 seconds. so, that shows that I have improved quite a bit. Other than Cubing, I like to make cool stencils and put them on my longboard. there is a pic on the left. I did all the stenciling myself. I bought the board at a yard sale for $10 and the paint was all screwed up, so I gave it a new paint job. I think it pretty cool. Well thats my update. Eric out.

Another School Day

Today is another day of at home schoolwork. There is not much that I have to do, the work is just tedious. I have to study for a quiz for 2 classes, and I have a 8- 10 page research paper that I have to work on. Well yesterday i was working in the garage and cleaning up my beach cruiser. I was using the WD-40 on my tires. I was kinda being stupid, and i sprayed some into my tailpipes and started a fire. NOT A GOOD IDEA! unexpectedly, the oil that go on the gloor caught on fire also, and in less than a second, INFERNO!!!

Mother's Day

Today is mother's day. It is the one day of the year where moms are nationally recognized and put on a pedestal. according to the world, this is all the time that there is for moms, but I think that they should be thanked every day of the year. I want to thank my mom for everything she's done for mein the past like helping me with reports or helping me get my grades out of the danger zone, and for everything she is going to do in the future. Mom, you arte the best mom a person could ask for, and I am lucky to be the one to get you. I hope you have a very happy Mother's Day and many more in the future. I love you very much, and i will do my best to help you this year and always.

LIFE!!!

I did it, I finally earned life! Two weeks ago, i went for my board of review and I passed. Just last Tuesday, I received the award. Life scout is the last rank before getting Eagle. I now need to get 5 more merit badges and do an Eagle Project, and I can take the board of review. It may not sound like too much, but I still have a long way to go. TTFN
